Ohaneze, South-East Governors' Meeting Postponed
The expected meeting of the governors of the southeast states and the leadership of Ohaneze Ndigbo initially scheduled for this weekend has been shifted to Tuesday, November 17. Pro=Biafra protesters Vanguard reports that the venue of the meeting has also been moved from Owerri, the Imo state capital, to Enugu, which is known as the traditional headquarters of the southeast states. The postponement was occasioned by the need for all those expected at the meeting to be in attendance. The governors, Ohaneze leadership and others stakeholders will discuss the continued pro-Biafra protests that have gained momentum in recent time. They will also try to find a lasting solution to the rising activities of the protesters. The commercial city of Aba is the latest city in the southeast region to witness Pro-Biafra protests.
