There are indications that the protest that rocked the All Progressives Congress national headquarters on Wednesday, September 2, was sponsored by the Peoples Democratic Party. This follows allegations from Abdulkadir Ahmed, a chieftain of the APC that PDP is responsible for the pandemonium that erupted last week, Daily Post reports. It will be recalled that a group of Kogi youths staged a protest at the APC national secretariat in Abuja where they insisted that Prince Abubakar Audu must first clear himself of the N11 billion corruption charges with the EFCC, before seeking to become governor again. Reacting however to this development, Ahmed said the protest was staged by those he described as miscreants coordinated by the PDP to destabilize the APC ahead of the governorship election in the state.
